Junior forward Alex Kallgren of Dudley, MA earned a spot on the All-Little East Conference team for the third straight season. She was voted as a third-team forward this past season after being named as a second-team midfielder in 2014 and second-team forward last year.
This past fall, Kallgren shared the team lead with four assists, was second in points (16) and tied for second in goals (6) and led the team with three game-winning goals. All of her goals and all but one of her points came in the ten matches of the year, when she helped the Warriors move out to a 6-4 start, 4-2 in the conference. Five of her goals and 11 of her points were recorded in 11 conference matches.
Kallgren's game-winning goals came in the second match of the season against Wilkes University at the Susquehanna Classic, in a 3-0 LEC win at Framingham State University and in a 4-1 conference triumph at Salem State University. She registered her two multi-goal games in those latter two games.
Kallgren’s second goal against Salem gave her 29 career goals and tied her for the program’s all-time lead with E-Club Hall of Famer Mo Deegan (2001-04).
