Rookie-of-the-Week


Patrick Agyemang, Fr., F, East Hartford

The 6-foot-3 inch Agyemang has helped Eastern to a 4-1-0 start, including 1-1-0 record last week when he played a role in all of his team’s goals in a 4-3 overtime home victory over Trinity College, defeating the Bantams for the first time since 2007. Against Trinity, Agyemang scored the first goal and the golden goal, assisted on one and helped set up the other without being credited with an assist. Agyemang had at least one goal in three straight matches, capped by the Trinity game. Agyemang has started all five matches this year, leads the team in shots (17), shares the team lead in goals and points.

Hannah Goodale, Sr., D, Coventry

Team tri-captain played all 180 minutes in a 1-1-0 week which included a 4-0 home win over Keene State College  that extended the team’s Little East Conference regular-season unbeaten streak to 26 (24-0-2) and a 1-0 road loss to No. 13 nationally-ranked Brandeis University. In two matches, Eastern allowed only 12 opposing shots to reach goal. Goodale has started all six matches this year, averaging just over 80 minutes per match. Eastern is 4-2-0 and has given up only two goals.
