Women's Soccer: Warriors Shutout Out in LIttle East Semifinals, End Season at 11-7
DANBURY, Conn. -- Lindsay Bouscaren scored her seventh goal of the season nine minutes into the second half and goalkeeper Caroline Richards needed only four saves to record the shutout as the third-seeded UMass Boston women's soccer team eliminated second-seeded Eastern Connecticut State University from the semifinals of the Little East Conference playoffs with a 1-0 win at the Westside Athletic Complex on the campus of top-seeded Western Connecticut State University.
Eastern (11-7) had defeated UMass Boston (14-6-1), 4-3, during the regular season at Boston, scoring three goals in the first 12 minutes but needing a go-ahead goal from senior Aly Clarke (Mystic) with ten minutes left. Bouscaren had scored the tying goal in that match in the 65th minute.

The Warriors put only four shots on goal and managed just one corner kick. Senior Kayla Labrecque (Westhampton, MA) had five saves as Eastern finished with a 3-7 record away from home this year.
