Grace Bilodeau of Conn (3-4-1) got behind the Eastern (6-5-1) defense and slid home a bad-angle shot from the left flank after a long run for the first goal of the match midway through the second half and Rebecca Parente scored her first collegiate goal on a penalty kick with nine minutes left after teammate Ali Cline was taken down while making a run through the box.
Freshmen Natalie Signor and Blythe Gross-Hutton combined on the shutout, with the starter making all four of the duo's saves in holding the Warriors scoreless for only the second time this year.
Eastern visits Keene State College Saturday at 1 p.m. in a Little East Conference match.
