Box Score MAHWAH, N.J. – After experiencing little success against Ramapo College of New Jersey in the first eight years of this century, the Eastern Connecticut State University men's soccer team has come full circle. Saturday, first-year sophomore Tyler Jones (Vernon) scored his first goal at Eastern late in the first half and the Warriors extended their unbeaten streak against the Roadrunners to seven in a 1-1, double overtime draw Saturday afternoon at the Ramapo Athletic Center.

A loser of eight of the first nine in this series, Eastern (1-1-2) has won five and tied two in this inter-regional battle with Ramapo (3-2-1) under eighth-year head coach Greg DeVito.
Ramapo forced overtime when freshman defender Modou Sowe scored his third goal of the year in the 70th minute.
Jones, a first-team All-New England pick at Manchester Community College two seasons ago, took four of Eastern's 13 shots in the match.
Sophomore Greg Walton (Brunswick, ME) and Ramapo sophomore Matthew Hernandez each had six saves in a game where each team featured 17 freshmen and sophomores on their rosters.
Eastern hosts Albertus Magnus College Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the first meeting between the programs in eight years. The Warriors bring a four-match unbeaten and unscored-upon streak (3-0-1) against Albertus into the contest.
