Cassie Woods (Mystic) reached six times, scored three runs and stole three bases when the No. 15-nationally-ranked Eastern Connecticut State University softball team swept Trinity College, 8-0 in six innings and 5-2 Sunday afternoon at Clyde Washburne Field.
Stoker, who defeated Albertus Magnus College in her debut ten days ago, allowed only senior leadoff hitter Samantha Witmer's clean two-out single to center in the third inning of the first game. She fanned two and walked five and allowed only three runners to reach scoring position.

Stoker, who also had two hits, scored two runs and drove in two on the afternoon, pitched a
1-2-3 seventh inning in the second game in support of junior starter
Brooke Matyasovsky (Orange). Matyasovsky (2-0) allowed only one run in pitching the first five innings of the second game after slamming her third home run of the year and 13
th of her career (tied for fifth all-time) leading off the fifth inning of the opener.
In the first game, Woods reached all four times. She singled and scored an unearned run in the first inning, stroked an opposite-field single to left and stole second in the third, reached on her fifth hit-by-pitch and scored an unearned run in the fourth, and doubled and scored the game-inning run in the sixth. In the second game, she reached on a bunt single and stole second in the fourth and walked and stole second in the sixth. Woods is batting .667 (6-for-9) this year with seven runs scored, four stolen bases, and an .813 on-base percentage. She has also handled eight chances without an error in center field.
Witmer, sophomore Makayla Boucher and freshman Gianna Tito all had two hits for Trinity in the doubleheader.
Eastern hosts Rhode Island College Tuesday in a 3 p.m. doubleheader.
