Paula Perez (Caguas, P.R.) contributed ten digs and three service aces as the Eastern Connecticut State University women's volleyball team swept Rhode Island College, 25-13, 25-21, 25-20 in a Little East conference match Thursday evening at the Murray Center.
The win is the tenth straight for Eastern (2-0, 2-0 LEC) over Rhode Island (0-2, 0-2 LEC).

Meg Verizzi (Lebanon) 29 assists and freshman
Paula Victoria Hernandez Aulet (Manti, P.R.) eight digs, two service aces and nine assists.
As a team, Eastern committed only three reception errors.

Lauren Notholt (Milford) recorded the team's only two block assists, and junior
Madison Bell (Salem) delivered consecutive service aces to make it 24-18. Notholt's fifth and final kills set up by Bell's assist clinched the win.
Eastern hosts Massachusetts Dartmouth April 18 at 1 p.m. in an LEC match.
