Former LEC Pitcher-of-the-Year is receiving the award for the second time in three weeks. Senior righty won her tenth straight game and 14 in 15 decisions with a complete-game 1-0 shutout in the opener and struck out four over the final two innings of the nightcap for her fourth save in the nightcap in a Little East Conference sweep at the University of Southern Maine that ended the team's regular season with 18 straight wins and produced the first 16-0 softball regular season in the conference.
 
In two games, Stoker did not allow a run on five singles with six strikeouts and a walk. The first strikeout in the seventh inning of the second game gave her 100 strikeouts in a season for the second time.
This year as a pitcher, Stoker has appeared in 26 of the team's 34 games and has won or saved 18 of the team's 26 victories.
 
Through the regular season, Stoker is ranked first in the LEC in saves, tied for first in wins, second in ERA (1.57), fourth in strikeouts (102) and seventh in lowest opposing batting average (.221). At Eastern, she is ranked third in career winning percentage (.897) with a 35-4 record, fifth in strikeouts per game (6.9), sixth in strikeouts (258) and tenth in wins.
 
Three-time defending LEC tournament champion Eastern will host the six-team LEC double elimination tournament May 10-13 at Clyde Washburne Field and will open Thursday at noon against the winner of a Wednesday first-round game between fourth-seeded Castleton University and fifth-seeded Rhode Island College.
