Returning second-team All-LEC midfielder and 2024 team captain received the award for the second time this year, following his selection in the second report of the year, Sept. 9.   Three-year starter played all but 18 minutes in a 1-0-1 week which included a scoreless home tie with Wesleyan University and a 3-1 Little East Conference victory at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. The only goal allowed on the week came with a minute left against UMass Dartmouth. The only field player to start all 15 matches this year, O'Brien leads the team in minutes (1,308) and average minutes (87.2) and shares the team lead with three assists. With O'Brien, Eastern has allowed less than six shots per match to reach net.
