Boden Tito, Jr., Southington (Southington)
Named LEC's top swimmer for the third time in the last six weeks. At the Chris Fisher Wheaton College Invitational over the weekend, he collected 31 points in two individual events and helped two relays total 46 more points. In the 400 individual medley, Tito won the preliminaries and improved his time to 4:15.09 in taking second in the final and was also fifth in the 200 butterfly (1:59.10). He swam a leg of the seventh-place 400 medley relay (3:40.65) and a leg of the eighth-place 400 freestyle relay (3:27.59). With 339.5 points, Eastern placed fourth in a four-team field won by Roger Williams University. In the team's home-opener Nov. 8, Tito was a double winner in the 200 butterfly (2:01.33) and 400 IM (4:24.32). Tito began the season Oct. 17 by capturing the University of Saint Joseph Blue Jay Pentathlon with a five-event time of 2:43.46, winning the 50 butterfly (24.43) and the 100 IM (56.21). The Warriors close out the 2025 portion of their schedule Dec. 5-6 at the Connecticut Cup, hosted by Wesleyan University.
