Zhiminaicela and Gasparri Power Warriors Past Castleton in Little East Matchup

CASTLETON, Vermont. — Led by a first-half goal from Glenda Zhiminaicela (Clinton) and a second-half strike from Michaela Gasparri (Prospect), Eastern Connecticut State University women's soccer dominated the Spartans in a Little East Conference match-up, securing a 2-0 conference win Saturday night at Dave Wolk Stadium.

The Warriors remain undefeated in conference play at 1-0-1, with Alex Ignatowicz (Coventry) earning her fourth clean sheet of the season.
