Saint Joseph (4-4) was coming off an 11-8 season last year following a 4-12 showing in 2023 but was limited to just three of its 12 shots reaching goal by the Eastern defense. The Warriors posted their first shutout of 2025 (handing USJ its first shutout loss of 2025) and junior goalie

Grace Barlage (Guilford), second among active players with 15 goals and 38 points, provided insurance with her fourth goal of the season (second to Molin) midway through the second quarter. First-year sophomore transfer
Jenna Boardman (Columbia) collected her second assist of the year on Molin's goal and sophomore
Rebecca Minaya (Stafford) her team-leading third assist on Barlage's goal.

The loss iss the third straight for USJ on the heals of a four-game winning streak.
