BRISTOL, R.I. – Eastern Connecticut women's swimming took third in the Chris Fisher Invitational, hosted by Roger Williams University, on Saturday (Oct. 24).

Jai-Lynn Wheeler had a strong meet for the Warriors, finishing third in the 100 free (57.08) and adding a sixth-place finish in the 200 freestyle (2:05.58).

Julia Ames posted three top-10 finishes, starting with a second-place finish in the 100 backstroke (1:04.76). Ames added a fourth-place finish in the 50 backstroke (30.50) and eighth-place finish in the 200 IM.

Ashley Carvente took fifth in the 100 butterfly (1:04.27). Kalynn Stewart finished third in the 100 breaststroke (1:13.04).

Elise Mourey was fourth in the 50 freestyle (26.47) and eighth in the 500 freestyle (5:45.25). Kalyn Baron took seventh in the 500 freestyle (5:45.01).
