WESTFIELD, Mass. – The Eastern Connecticut State University women's golf team concluded its 2026 spring season with a win over Westfield State University Thursday at Shaker Farms Country Club. The Warriors shot 412 as a team, defeating the Owls, who shot 429.
Daria Fournier (Farmington) led all players with a 91, while
Grace Rose (Waterbury) finished second overall, with a score of 100. Fournier posted a birdie on hole 14, listed as a par three, and Rose birdied the fifth hole, a par four, as the pair were the only players in the field to achieve a birdie through the 18.
Ashley Ames led the Owls with a score of 103, placing third overall. All four golfers from Westfield State finished within ten strokes of one another.
The win over Westfield State gives the Warriors their first in program history in their final round of the academic year.
