NORTH WINDHAM, Conn. – Eastern Connecticut State women's golf started its season with a win in the ECSU Women's Warrior Invite on Friday (Sept. 11). The Warriors finished with a team score of 363, winning the tournament by 12 shots.

First-year Caroline Goderre earned the individual crown shooting a 73 (+2), 11 shots ahead of the second-place finisher.

Keene State finished second in the tournament with a score of 375, followed by Albertus Magnus (384), Western Connecticut State (436) and Lasell (508).

Daria Fournier finished tied for second with a score of 84. Grace Rose finished eighth (97), followed by Hannah Milot (109) in 13^th and Callie Balsley (113) in 18^th.

Goderre picked up birdies on the fourth and seventh holes on the front nine, shooting a 36. On the backside, the Lebanon, Conn., native took advantage of the par fives, making birdie on the 11^th and eagle on the 15^th.
