 Collin Russell, a native of Sandwich, MA, moves into the coaching ranks with a Director of Player Development and recruiting internship as he completes his requirements for a B.S. Degree in Physical Education. An infielder, Russell completed a four-year career in the spring of 2018, compiling a .285 career average (.317 as a two-year regular) in 79 games with 73 assists. He was a member of the Captain’s Council in his final season.

“Collin is poised to build on a very successful playing career at Eastern by leading our sub-varsity program and also coaching with the varsity team," says head coach Brian Hamm. "Collin’s strong character and dedication to his teammates will serve as an example for the team. He is the consummate professional; his humility, work ethic, positive attitude, and sportsmanship are character traits that our athletics department celebrates. He is well on his way to the beginnings of a successful coaching career.”
