Harry Roberson joins the staff as hitting and infield coach.

Roberson was a four-year shortstop, three-time all-conference selection and two-time captain under Eastern head coach Brian Hamm at Amherst College through 2018, helping the Mammoths to two NCAA tournaments and graduating as the program’s all-time leader in hits. In 153 career games, the Arlington, MA native compiled 198 hits with a career batting average of .340, 148 runs, 103 RBI, and 36 stolen bases. Defensively, he compiled 476 assists.

While at Amherst, Roberson spent two summers with the Nashua Silver Knights in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League, helping the team to the league title in 2017 and earning all-star honors and receiving the Adam Keenan Award by the team for outstanding attitude.

Roberson holds a B.A. Degree in Economics from Amherst.

“Harry is one of the bright, young minds in college baseball coaching," says Hamm. "As a player, Harry embodied the traits that we want Eastern players to carry; his intelligent play matched with great talent, unparalleled work ethic, and sportsmanship led to tremendous success. As a coach, Harry communicates well the adjustments that work best for players based on his strong knowledge of technique and tactics.”
