Coach LaBranche: "P.J. is swinging the bat really well in in pre-season after coming back from a couple of injuries. His opportunity in the spring is dependent upon how well he comes back from his leg injury, and how well he runs, and if he can cover ground the way he needs to in the outfield. He looks very good offensively, so right now he could compete for DH time and could compete for outfield time."
