Kraig Page joins the staff of head coach Bill Geitner.

A native of Brooklyn, NY, Page comes to Eastern after coaching boys basketball at Hyde School and Woodstock Academy in 2016-17, serving as associate head coach at Hyde and assistant coach at Woodstock Academy.

Page’s additional basketball coaching experience came at the Greg Koubek Basketball Camp in Brant Lake, NY – under the direction of the former Duke University national champion -- and most recently, at the GymRat Challenge at Union College as a player evaluator in the summer of 2017.

Page played three seasons of collegiate basketball – one at Schenectady County Community College in 2012-13 and two at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts between 2013 and 2015.

Under former coach Jamie Morrison at Mass College, the 6-foot-1 inch forward appeared in 44 games with nine starts. The versatile wing brought energy and leadership to the court, was capable of guarding positions 1-through-4 and was often responsible for guarding the opponents’ best player.

Off the court, Page was one of the college’s most prominent student leaders, earning conference all-academic honors and serving as a SAAC representative for the program, earning the SAAC Presidential Award as a senior. He was also among 200 student-athletes nationwide selected to participate in the NCAA Career in Sports Forum.

In the North Adams, Mass. community, Page was involved in numerous activities,  and as part of the MCLA Student Affairs Leadership Recognition Program, was awarded the Lorraine B. Maloney Community Service Award. The award is in honor of MCLA’s first volunteer coordinator and recognizes the ideals of volunteerism and the promotion of community service and community relations.

Page holds a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from MCLA and is currently studying for his M.S. in Sport Management from the University of Connecticut.
