The first of only two four-time All-Little East Conference selections in program history, Trachone Preston returns to the coaching staff for the Trachone Prestoneighth season in 2024/25.

A 5-foot-9 inch lefty guard, Preston helped the Warriors to an overall record of 85-30 (73.9 percent) in a career spanning 2012 through 2016, including a 50-6 record (89.3) in LEC regular-season play, three straight conference regular-season titles, three post-season tournament appearances and the 20013 ECAC New England tournament title.

The Enfield graduate completed his 108-game career ranked third all-time with 1,579 points, and in the all-time Top Ten in assists, field goals, free throws, three-pointers, and three-point field goal and free throw percentage. His three-point field goal percentage of 45.9 during his freshman season remains a season record, as does his 91.1 free throw percentage as a senior.

As a freshman, Preston was named Little East and Eastern Rookie-of-the-Year and as a junior prior to an injury-plagued senior season, repeated as a first-team All-LEC selection and was named to the D3Hoops.com All-Northeast Region fourth team and as Eastern’s Male Athlete-of-the-Year.

Preston earned his B.S. Degree in Sport and Leisure Management in December of 2016.
