Personal goal for the season: Sub 27:00 at UMD, consistent mileage, peak for New England’s
Your most overused phrase: “It’s all good baby, baby” –Biggie Smalls
Favorite place to stop for food after a competition: 2 for $20 at Applebee’s with the whole squad
Pet peeve: Fatal Shark Attacks
If you could describe yourself in one word, it would be: Tenacious
If you were to choose a superpower what would it be: Rewinding VHS tapes with my mind
Your spirit animal: Antelope
What famous structure was actually built by the Illuminati: Stonehenge
One thing you would like to do before you died: Run an ultramarathon. Also, take a bath in the ECSU Honors House.
The automobile you would buy tomorrow if you had the money: My dad’s truck. It already has all my radio presets and my CDs in the glove compartment.
Dream job: Best case scenario: I complete my breakout season this year at Eastern, shattering the school 10k record. I then find a job in the Midwest where I can work part-time for room and board, and spend the following years training to make an appearance at the 2024 Olympic Games in the 5k, 10k, or Marathon. With my earnings from sponsorships, I can afford to spend the next ten years driving the American West coast in a van with a reggae band, winning small-town road races and running 100+ miles a week, before retiring to a well-paying division one coaching job. If that falls through, I’ll be a software developer.
Favorite Olympic sport to watch: Track and Field
Favorite Instagram filter: I really like the way my eyes look in the “Mid-life Crisis” filter. “Sepia” also looks nice.
If your life could be made into a movie, the title would be: Running2Fast2Furious2Win
