Robert Maher returns to the staff of head coach Craig Gibson.

A native of Katonah, NY, Maher has spent the last 14 years coaching throughout Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts at the collegiate and high school levels, at showcases, and with travel clubs and at elite camps.

As a four-year goalie at Springfield College between 2011 and 2014, Maher was a member of four straight NCAA tournament teams which never lost a regular-season or playoff game in the Pilgrim Lacrosse League, the Pride going 23-0 in the regular season and 8-0 in the Pilgrim League playoffs.

As a sophomore USILA All-America honorable mention choice in 2012, Maher started 15 matches for the 14-4 Pride and ranked fifth nationally (first in New England) in goals-against average (5.64) and fifth (second in New England) in save percentage (.651). At Springfield, Maher started 29 of the 41 matches in which he appeared with a 7.92 GAA and .580 save percentage for teams which averaged 12.5 wins per season.

Maher currently teaches physical education at the Riverside Magnet School at Goodwin University in East Hartford.
