Allison Surian
Assistant coach Allison Surian returns to the staff of head coach Sarit Gluz.
 
As a four-year member of the Roger Williams University swim program through 2020, Surian was a two-time NEISDA champion and 14-time All-NEISDA qualifier (top eight) in helping the Hawks to NEISDA Championship titles during her freshman and senior seasons and to two second-place finishes.
 
As a senior, the Burlington native and high honors student won NEISDA titles in the 200 backstroke (2:08.09) and as the lead swimmer in the backstroke with the 400 medley relay (4:01.16). That year, she was also named All-NEISDA in the 100 backstroke (3rd) and 50 backstroke (7th) and with the 400 freestyle relay (2nd) and 800 freestyle relay (3rd).
 
In her career, the two-year team captain achieved All-NEISDA recognition in ten individual events and with four relays. She was a four-time All-NEISDA honoree in the 200 backstroke and a two-time honoree in the 100 backstroke.
 
As a member of the National Honor Society at Lewis Mills High School, Surian earned All-State recognition in the 500 freestyle and 100 backstroke.
 
Surian graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. Degree in biology and chemistry and is working toward her M.S. Degree in biomedical engineering at the University of Connecticut.
