Before Eastern: Varsity swimmer for four years in high school, named team captain in his final two seasons… four-year member of the track team and three-year member of the cross country team, where he was captain in 2024… swam the 100 back (58.07), 200 back (2:10), and 100 free (52.22)… finished second in the 100 back in his senior year conference meet… academically, named to the honor roll for all four years and was in the National Honor Society for his final two years
