Dawn (Walmsley) Brolin '92, a former three-sport athlete at Eastern and member of four regional softball championship teams and one national titlist, returns to the staff of head coach Diana Pepin.
A Windham native and graduate of Parish Hill High School in Chaplin, Brolin works with the outfielders and baserunners.
Brolin was a four-year member and three-year starter with the Eastern softball and soccer teams who also played basketball for one season. In nine seasons, she was a member of eight post-season tournament qualifiers and played under Eastern Hall of Fame coaches in all three sports.
In softball, she was a classmate of Pepin on teams which reached the championship round of three national softball tournaments, helping the 1990 squad to the title. She was named to the national tournament all-tournament team as an outfielder in both 1991 and 1992. As a midfielder, she was a member of three post-season tournament soccer teams, including the first to earn an NCAA tournament invitation, in 1989. In one basketball season, she played guard on a team which won the ECAC New England tournament championship in 1988/89.
Brolin started 107 of the 149 games in which she appeared in softball, batting .269 with 26 stolen bases and 81 runs scored. A starter in 56 of the 67 matches in which she appeared in soccer, Brolin contributed 15 goals and 16 assists.
Brolin is a Certified Public Accountant and managing member of Powerful Accounting, LLC and is the author of the book titled The Designated Motivator: Unlock Your Superpower To Change Your Life, The World & Everyone In It.
