Devyne Doran, a four-year starter between 2014 and 2017 and two-time Little East Conference Defensive Player-of-the-Year, returns to the staff of head coach Christine Hutchison as assistant coach at recruiting coordinator. In addition to her coaching duties, Doran serves as Game Operations/Event Staff Coordinator.
A native of South Kingstown, RI, Doran was a four-year All-LEC pick on defense -- earning first-team honors in each of her final three years -- and as a senior, became the program's seventh selection to the IWLCA/STX Farewell Lacrosse Festival North-South Senior All-Star Game, and was also a second-team IWLCA All-Berkshire Region pick.
With Doran, Eastern finished with at least a share of the LEC regular-season title in each of her final two years, compiling an 11-1 LEC regular-season record and 25-11 mark overall.
Doran started all 66 matches in which she appeared in her career and at the time of her graduation was ranked third all-time in draws (193) and eighth in ground balls (181). She led the team in ground balls and draw controls each year and was the leader in draws in each of her final two seasons.
Doran earned her B.A. Degree in Sociology with a Communication minor in May of 2017.
