Kaitlyn Kennedy returns to the staff of head coach Chris D’Ambrosio following a four-year Eastern career.
The Burlington native appeared in 75 of a possible 81 matches at midfield between 2010 and 2013, starting 41 times and totaling 15 points on four goals and seven assists.
After appearing in 20 of 22 matches as a freshman on a team which posted an unbeaten regular season and won the regional tournament, Kennedy moved into a starting role as a sophomore, when she started 17 matches and contributed a career-high seven points.
During Kennedy’s playing career, Eastern posted a 46-25-10 overall record, 21-6-1 in the Little East regular season, won two regular-season conference titles and one LEC playoff title and participated in two NCAA tournaments.
Kennedy earned a spot on the LEC All-Academic team in all three years of eligibility and received the maximum number of two E-Club Outstanding Scholar-Athlete Awards. As a senior in 2013, she was named to the NSCAA Scholar All-East Region Team.
In addition to coaching at Eastern, Kennedy serves as head girls' soccer coach at Manchester High School.
Kennedy holds a B.S. Degree in English and is pursuing her M.S. Degree in Secondary Education.
