Sadie Martinez joins the staff of head coach Kyle Gallo as an assistant coach for the women’s golf program after spending 2024-25 as the head girls’ golf coach at Northwest Catholic High School.
In 2024, Martinez launched her own company Martinez Golf LLC in 2024. Through Martinez Golf, Sadie Martinez runs a coaching business focusing on beginner growth, junior development, and adult engagement. This company provides value to all levels of golfers, with over ten unique programs including weekly clinics, camps, and leagues.
Martinez serves as a teaching professional at Lake of Isles in North Stonington. From 2017-2019, she was an assistant golf pro at Royal Oaks Country Club.
Martinez played collegiately at the University of the Cumberlands (Williamsburg, KY), being named to the All- Mid-South Conference second team and academic all-conference team as a senior in 2017. That year, she finished 12th in the MSC Championships and 90th in the NAIA nationals at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
A native of Hartford, Martinez earned her undergraduate degree in spanish and criminal justice from Cumberlands, before earning her graduate degree in special education from the University of Hartford in 2021.
