Andre Reynolds André Reynolds '15 returns to the staff as an assistant coach and focuses on working with the hurdlers and sprinters.

As an undergraduate, Reynolds was a four-year letterwinner in indoor and outdoor track & field, earning All-New England recognition twice outdoors in the 110m hurdles and once indoors in the 60m hurdles, and earning All-Little East Conference and All-New England Alliance honors ten times indoors and outdoors in the 55, 60 and 110 meter hurdles.

Also a long-jumper early in his career -- winning the ECSU Outdoor Invitational as a sophomore with a mark of 20-8 1/2 -- Reynolds concentrated primarily on the hurdles later in his career. As a sophomore in the spring of 2013, he was eighth in the 110 hurdles at the New England Division III Outdoor Championships, and as a junior, was seventh in the 60 hurdles indoors and sixth in the 110 hurdles outdoors in the New England meet.

A Hartford native, Reynolds held the program record in the 110 hurdles outdoors (15.00) -- set as a sophomore at the ECAC Division III Championships -- thru the spring of 2022, and the 60 hurdles indoors (8.48) -- set  as a sophomore in the New England Open Championships -- thru 2020/21. Through 2022/23, he still ranks second all-time in both of those hurdle events. Through 2022/23, he also holds the third-fastest time in the 55 hurdles (7.94), set at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy indoors as a junior.

As an assistant coach, Reynolds has been instrumental in the development of current record-breaking hurdlers Adam Schimmelpfennig and Alyssa Sirianni. Schimmelpfenning enters his junior season holding three of the men's four hurdles records and ranking fourth in the other (400). Sirianni enters her senior season holding the 400 hurdles record and ranks second in the 100 and 60 and fourth in the 55.

As an undergraduate, Reynolds served as a head residential peer advisor in the Eastern Advising Center and worked for three years in the Eastern admissions office and for two years with the Campus Activity Board.

Reynolds holds a B.A. in Sociology and resides in his hometown.
