Rookie-of-the-Week 

Anthony Stigler, Fr., RF, Mansfield

First-semester transfer helped Eastern to a 2-2 week by leading the team with seven RBI, six coming in a doubleheader loss to UMass Boston Saturday. Stigler had a two-run double and two-run single in the first game against UMass and a two-run single in the nightcap.

Female Track Rookie-of-the-Week 

Lauren Bresson, Fr., Roxbury

In her first collegiate outdoor meet, freshman Lauren Bresson of Roxbury, Conn. placed fourth in a field of 15 in the 800 with a time of 2:32.38 at the Warrior Invitational Friday afternoon. She was the first among five freshmen at the finish. Easter finished second as a team among seven competing teams in the meet, only 15 points behind champion University of Southern Maine.
