Ian Moser, Jr., Bellingham, MA (Bishop Feehan '23)
Returning first-team All-Little East Conference designated hitter earns the weekly honor for the second time this year. In a 3-2 week which included two LEC wins in three games, Moser batted .588 (10-for-17) with 1.118 slugging and .650 on-base percentages. Moser drove in nine runs, scored seven and had five extra-base hits, including his team-leading tenth and 11 home runs of the season. The first baseman had multi-hit games in the first four games of the week, including his sixth and seventh three-hit games of the year. In a 12-2, eight-inning LEC home win over Western Connecticut, Moser reached five times with a double, single, and three walks, drove in three runs, scored three runs and stole four bases. In a conference split against LEC regular-season champion University of Southern Maine, the righty hitter was 5-for-9 with two doubles and a home run, four RBI and two runs. On the week, he had a .976 fielding percentage, handling 41 of 42 chances. Through the regular season, Moser leads Eastern (25-13-1) in batting average (.390), doubles (12), home runs (11), extra-base hits (23), total bases (98), slugging (.721) and RBI (59). The fourth-seeded Warriors face third-seeded University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the first round of the LEC double-elimination tournament, hosted by Southern Maine.
