WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Eastern Connecticut State University sophomore Madeleine Dalberg (Pitea, Sweden) earned All-New England recognition for the fourth time in two years in the long jump with a third-place finish on the second day of the New England Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships Friday at the Lee Track & Field Complex on the campus of Williams College.

 Seeded fourth, Dalberg recorded a jump of 18-1 (5.51m), just 3/4 of an inch off the program record which she set earlier this year. As a freshman, she was sixth in the event in the New England outdoor meet, and indoors, was third as a freshman and seventh this past February. The top eight finishes are accorded All-New England recognition.
