MANSFIELD, Conn. – Senior Brittany Kriley (Fair Lawn, NJ) compiled 17 points in three events and junior Ryan Escoda (Newtown) established set a facility record of 9:41.62 in the 3000 steeplechase for the Eastern Connecticut State University track & field team at its own invitational Thursday morning at the Mansfield Outdoor Complex

In addition to Kriley's strong performances, senior Lauren Bresson (Roxbury) added ten points with second-place finishes at 800 and 1500 meters for the women's team, which was second as a team to Division II Franklin Pierce University. The Ravens had 175 points, Eastern 107 and Division II University of New Haven 61.

Escoda was one of four first-place finishers for the men, along with senior Justin Gomez-Stafford (New Haven), sophomore Cory Bill (Mansfield) and freshman Conor Hennessy (Granby). The Warriors (123.5 points) were also second to Franklin Pierce (154) and ahead of New Haven (76.5) in the men's scoring.
