WELLESLEY, Mass. –Eastern Connecticut State University senior
Kerry-Rose Buchanan (Southington) swam to All-Little East Conference recognition in three individual and three relay events for the women and the men broke 14 individual and all five relay records as both teams placed third at the three-day LEC Swimming & Diving Championships which concluded Tuesday evening at the Boston Sports Institute.

Maya Brody (East Granby) each won individual titles in the 200 freestyle and 50 butterfly, respectively, for the women and sophomore
Connor Scully (Oxford) and first-year performers
Ben D'Addario (Fairfield) and
Joseph Sylvestor (Morris) all broke program records in each of their three events for the men.
In a nine-team field, the women totaled 704 points, 164 more than fourth-place Westfield State University and only 15 behind runner-up Bridgewater State University.
In the first official LEC men's championships, the Warriors amassed 560 points in the field of five teams.
The top two individuals in each event and top two relays are accorded All-LEC recognition, event winners being named to the first team and the second-place finisher a second-team honoree.
The women totaled 20 All-LEC certificates. Buchanan earned All-LEC honors in all three of her individual events and on three relays; Brody was All-LEC on two individual events and with two relays, first-year swimmer
Allison Ronan (Northbridge, MA) in one individual event and with four relays, sophomore
Lindsay Weaver (Newington) and sophomore
Nancy Scanlon (West Hartford) in one individual event and with one event each and sophomore
Kelly Schneider (Portland) with two relays.
Five members of the men team combined to earn All-LEC recognition a total of nine times, in five individual events and with one relay.
Scully swam to All-LEC honors in the 50 and 200 breaststroke and with the 400 medley relay, D'Addario in the 200 freestyle and with the relay; Rego in the 100 butterfly and with the relay, Sylvester in the 400 individual medley and Melia with the relay.
