Women's Highlights
 
Four individuals combined for the team's 32 points: Wendie Stewart (23), Alyssa Sirianni (6), Mackenzie Dunn (2) and Shannon Burby (1).
 
Stewart won the shot put and discus, was sixth in the hammer and ninth in the javelin. Sirianni was third in the 100 hurdles, Dunn seventh in the long jump and Burby eighth in the javelin.
 
Stewart demolished her previous records in all four throwing events with a 41-3 ¼ in the shot, 136-8 in the discus, 141-2 in the hammer and 99-4 in the javelin. Stewart fell just 18 inches shy of former Olympian Bonnie Edmondson's 39-year-old record of 42-9 in the shot. There were 42 competitors in the discus and 37 in the shot. She won the shot and discus for the second time each in four outdoor events.
 
Sirianni was timed in 15.56 in the 100 hurdles, just .02 off the program record of 15.54 set by Brittany Kriley at the Little East Championships in May of 2021 at UMass Dartmouth.
 
Men's Highlights
 
Six individuals combined for the team's 50 points: Adam Schimmelpfennig (15), Aidan Hennessy (10), Kaito Yasuda (9), Cory Bill (6), Ryan Escoda (6) and Conor Hennessy (4).
 
Schimmelpfennig won the 110 hurdles and was fourth in the 400 hurdles, Aidan Hennessy won the decathlon, Yasuda was second in the 200 and eighth in the 100, Bill third in the 400 and Escoda third in the 3000 steeplchase and Conor Hennessy was fifth in the triple jump.
 
Aidan Hennessy netted 5,546 points in the decathlon, second all-time in program history behind Jay Efinger's total of 5,937 in 1986. He won the long jump, 100, 110 hurdles and high jump, was second in the discus, third in the 400, fourth in the 1500, fifth in the javelin, sixth in the shot and seventh in the pole vault. Runner-up Christopher Koskinen of Connecticut College had 5,399 points as one of four competitors with at least 5000 points. Koskinen won the pole vault, 1500 and 400 and was second to Hennessy in the hurdles. Five events were contested Friday afternoon and five Saturday.
 
Eastern hosts the Bonnie Edmondson Classic Friday at noon at the Mansfield Outdoor Complex.
