Rookie-of-the-Week
Alexa Vizzini, Fr., Vernon, NJ
 
The LEC Rookie-of-the-Week honor is the second this year for Vizzini, a midfielder. In a 1-1 week, she had seven goals and three assists, all coming in a 24-4 Little East Conference win over Castleton University. The ten points rank in a tie for fifth-most in a match in program history. Four of her goals were assisted by Offensive Player-of-the-Week Shay Ventresca. Vizzini contributed to five first-half goals by scoring two and assisting on three.  Vizzini leads the team with 28 goals and 29 draw controls and is second in points (33).   Eastern (3-8, 1-2 LEC) hosts Rhode Island College (1-11, 0-3 LEC) Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Rick McCarthy Field.
