Report # 6 – Through Nov. 17

 

First-year sophomore transfer Bruce Bradshaw won the 200 breaststroke (2:33.06) in a field of four swimmers when Eastern defeated host Plymouth State University, 164-32, Friday at the PSU Natatorium. Bradshaw edged sophomore teammate Samuel Ainscough by .77 seconds for his first collegiate win. He becomes the program's third weekly individual winner this year, joining first-year swimmer Max Metlitski and sophomore Nico Iannucci, who were named Rookie Swimmer and Swimmer-of-the-Week, respectively, in the second weekly report Oct. 20.  In addition to the 200 breaststroke, Bradshaw has swum the 100 breaststroke and 50, 100 and 1000 freestyle this year. Eastern competes at the Roger Williams University Fisher Invitational along with Babson College Friday and Saturday at the RWU Aquatics Center.
