WILLIMANTIC, Conn. -- Eastern Connecticut State University is excited to announce the partnership with
Influxer, a leading Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) platform designed to empower student-athletes to capitalize on their Name, Image, and Likeness rights, fostering personal and professional growth.
All student athletes will have the opportunity to create a personal store of co-branded apparel featuring student-athletes' names and numbers, allowing fans to purchase customized gear. Through this partnership, Influxer will also provide student-athletes with valuable education and training in areas such as marketing, entrepreneurship, and personal branding.
In short, Influxer connects student-athletes with brands for paid collaborations.

Lori Runksmeier has been an amazing opportunity to see the vision they have for Eastern Connecticut State University providing great options through Influxer for their student-athletes," said Keith Miller, Vice President of Influxer. "They see this as not simply a transactional opportunity, but as an opportunity to develop long-term skills for life."

Influxer was founded by CEO Tyler Jaynes, a former four-year football player at Baylor University. Coupling a successful background as a young business professional with a love for the sports world, Jones founded Influxer in the wake of the Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) law passing in July of 2021. Ambitions of starting a company to serve the greater good and being a part of something greater than himself has always been Jaynes' goal. During his time at Baylor and prior to NIL, he saw many of his teammates sending their per diem money back home to support their family. This led to the aspiration of empowering student-athletes with opportunity and financial education to succeed for many years to come. Influxer is built on the foundation of integrity and providing resources for all student-athletes.

Influxer is licensed with over 400 schools nationwide. Among the many New England Division III schools having partnered with Influxer are Albertus Magnsu College, Bridgewater State University, Salem State University, University of Southern Maine, Wheaton College, Massachusetts Dartmouth , Plymouth State University and Worcester State University.
