Allegra Copeland (Beaumont, CA) had a match-high 12 kills with a .375 attack percentage to power the Eastern Connecticut State University women's volleyball team to its best attack percentage in over a month as the Warriors won their seventh straight with a three-set non-conference win over Mitchell College Friday night at the Yarnall Center. Set scores were 25-17, 25-16, 25-23.
The start after 17 matches for Eastern (14-3) is its best since 1998, when it began 16-1 to earn a No. 15 national ranking on the way to an NCAA tournament berth.
Eastern improved to 12-0 all-time vs. Mitchell (7-8), sweeping the Mariners for the tenth time.
Junior
Haley Jo Bridges (Montebello, NY) added eight kills with a .545 attack percentage and sophomore
Addison Soleau (East Lyme) added seven kills as the Warriors posted their third match with a hitting percentage of over .300 – their first since attacking a .400 in a three-set sweep of visiting Bay Path University Sept. 6.

Ariah Davis (Raleigh, NC) had 21 assists and first-year player
Sonya Nielsen (Waterford, WI) 13 while junior
Brooke Praskievicz (Moodus) had 11 digs. Senior
Liz Squier (Trevor, WI) had one dig to reach 500 in her career.
