WEST HARTFORD, Conn. -- Eastern Connecticut State University senior
Natasha Frisch (Mendota Heights, MN) repeated her second-place finish from a year ago and was followed by four first-year swimmers as the Warriors opened their women's swim season at the University of Saint Joseph Pentathlon Friday night at Bruyette Natatorium.

Behind Frisch and placing among the top ten in the field of 42 swimmers were first-year swimmers
Jai-Lynn Wheeler (Stonington) and
Ashley Carvente (Norwalk), with classmates
Rachel Mathews (West Hartford) and
Julia Ames (Pawtucket, RI) right behind them. Wheeler (3:10.05) was fourth, Carvente (3:16.73) ninth, Mathews (3:20.39) 12th and Ames (3:20.56) 13th. Junior
