Zachary D'Andrea leads the Warriors for the third time in four meets this season, finishing in 65
th place, running a time of 26:33. D'Andrea spent virtually the entire race in the lead for the Warriors, putting himself in the mix with athletes who broke the 26-minute barrier.
Jake Thompson had his highest ever finish as a Warrior, coming in second with a time of 26:49, breaking 27 for the first time in his career.
Kyle Kornacki moved up from behind the first five Warriors to finish in third for the team, also running a personal best in the 8k.
Sam Ambrocio outkicked
Joey Caruk at the line, a competition that helped Eastern Connecticut get its entire Top 5 in under 27 minutes.
Luke Dalton wasn't far behind, knocking 10 seconds off his time two weeks ago, setting a personal record with 27:21.
Hayden Baber and
Ian Vasquez finished in 7
th and 8
th, respectively.

For a second consecutive race,
Isabel Cintron led the Warriors, this time with a time of 24:20. All three of her 6000-meter races this season have been within a second of each other.
Emely Melendez was close behind, running 24:43 for second on Eastern Connecticut.
Daria Fournier had a breakthrough race, setting a personal record in 25:02.
Meghan Georgescu, having missed last meet, finished in 4
th for the Warriors.
Keira Warner essentially matched her time from Keene, running 26:06.
Natalie Estabrook closed out the 6 finishers in 27:50. The Eastern Connecticut women finished 22
nd in a field of 34, while the men finished in 10
th out of 37.
Eastern heads back to Keene, NH, for the Little East Conference XC Championships on Saturday, November 1
st. This meet will serve as the start of championship racing, with the Warriors facing exclusively Little East Conference teams at Keene.
