- Plymouth State got off to a hot start in the first set, building up 11-4 and 20-8 leads at certain points. The Warriors fought back with 6 consecutive points to bring it within 5 points, at 22-17. Two kills from Plymouth's Annalyn Cahill, combined with an attack error on the other point, helped the Panthers gain their final 3 points of the set.
- The second set stayed close throughout its entirety, with a three-point Panther lead the highest mountain Eastern Connecticut had to overcome. Plymouth had the Warriors at 23-22, before kills from Addison Soleau and Brooke Praskievicz helped Eastern regain the lead. After a Danielle Emerson kill, Praskievicz added another of her own, before an attack error from Plymouth's Sydney Riley ended the set.

- The fourth set was back and forth, with Eastern building up a lead as high as 14-8. At this point, Plymouth took 7 of the next 8 points to level the score at 15. With a 22-21 advantage, Plymouth State had another three kills to complete the game and give them a 3-1 victory.
