The NEIGA Championship closes out the fall season for the Eastern men, while the Eastern women compete in the first Little East Conference Championship Thursday and Friday at 9 a.m., with the championship being hosted by Rhode Island College at par-72, 6,600 yard Valley Country Club in Warwick, RI. Five primary LEC institutions – Eastern, Rhode Island College, University of Southern Maine, Western Connecticut State University and Keene State College -- will be joined in the championship by affiliated members Husson University and Westfield State University.
2025: Eastern's sixth-place finish is its highest finish in five years of NEIGA participation. The team was seventh in its first three appearances and eighth last fall. Little East Conference champion University of Southern Maine was fourth, four strokes better than Eastern. The Warriors finished well above LEC competitors Keene State College (13
th) and Western Connecticut (16

Jake Napolitan (Agawam, MA) Â shared eighth place with, among others, junior teammate
Ethan McDaniel (Orange). Napolitan's +5/149 effort was  far and away his best performance in two years of NEIGA competition. The pair missed All-New England status by two strokes.   McDaniel shaved four strokes off his 2024 effort. First-year junior transfer

Chris Stephenson (Colchester) and junior
Ryan O'Donnell (Southington) were competing in NEIGA for the first time. Among that trio, O'Donnell shot the best (+9) on the second day.
Team champion University of Hartford was comprised of five freshmen
. The top six finishers and ties are accorded All-New England recognition, with the top 18 finishers and ties receiving a pin flag.
Recent history
2024: McDaniel and
Chris Davidson shared 20
th place (+9/153) in leading the Warriors to eighth place in a field of 22 teams. It was McDaniel's first year on the team. Davidson shot even part on the second day after logging a +9 on the first day.
Nick DiNino (+17/161) shared 53
rd place in the field of 113 golfers, with
Matthew Orefice (+18/162) sharing 58
th place and current junior
Eliyaan Shakeel (+22/166) sharing 73
rd place. Endicott College won the team title by setting a two-day NEIGA record of 7-under 569. The Warriors finished ahead of Little East Conference rivals Western Connecticut (14
th) and Keene State College (20
th). LEC champion University of Southern Maine was the top LEC finisher, taking seventh, seven strokes better than Eastern. Brady Burke of Endicott copped medalist honors on the third playoff hole.
2023: All-America
Ashton Lewis earned medalist honors as the Warriors finished seventh. Competing in his first NEIGA, Napolitan shared 57
th place (+20/164). Lewis shot +1 145.
2022: Lewis finished second individually in pacing the Warriors to seventh place.
