Game Preview: When the Warriors  face off against the Wolves of Western Connecticut tonight, they will not only be playing to extend their five-game win streak – they will also look to get redemption against the very team that knocked them out in the first round of the conference playoffs last year. The Warriors have been victorious in both of their conference games so far this season, downing Keene State and VTSU Castleton. The Wolves have won four of their last five games, falling to Plymouth State last Saturday in their most recent outing. The two teams have faced multiple common opponents this season, including Trinity, who both lost to, University of Hartford and Castleton, who both team beat. While both beat the University of Hartford by scores of 3-1, the Warriors needed five sets to get the win vs Castleton, whereas the Wolves needed only three. The Warriors enter today with a 4-2 home record, while the Wolves currently own a 7-3 record away from Feldman Arena.
