Emma Robinson (Westlake Village, CA) combined for 19 kills with a .500 attack percentage to power the Eastern Connecticut State University women's volleyball to a three-game sweep of the University of Saint Joseph in the 2025 season-opener Friday night at the James A. Calhoun Gymnasium. Set scores were 25-12, 25-14, 25-13.
In her debut at Eastern after transferring from Farmingdale State College, the 5-foot-11 inch Nemecek had game-highs of ten kills and .600 attack percentage, while Robinson, a returning first-team All-Little East Conference player, had nine kills with a .412 attack percentage.

At Calhoun Gymnasium Saturday, Eastern faces Mount Holyoke College at 2 p.m. and Saint Joseph at 4 p.m. before hosting Trinity College in its home-opener Friday at 6 p.m.
