Offensive Player-of-the-Week
Emma Sanson, Sr., Thomaston (Thomaston)
First weekly selection this year for the co-captain and first for a member of the program this season… the second-team All-LEC selection in 2024 scored both of her goals in the first 13 minutes of a 4-0 non-conference home victory over the University of Maine at Farmington Saturday, and later added an assist in the final minute of the third quarter to give her second five-point match this season… shares second place on this year's team in goals (5) and points (12), having start all nine matches for the 4-5 (0-0 LEC) Warriors… tied for fourth in goals and tied for fifth in points in the LEC… has 27 goals and ten assists for 64 points in her four-year career… Eastern visits Salve Regina University (7-1) Wednesday in a non-conference match before opening its LEC season Saturday at the University of Southern Maine at noon. The No. 5-seeded Huskies eliminated the No. 4-seeded Warriors, 1-0, in the first round of last year's LEC playoffs at Rick McCarthy Field.

First weekly honor for Praskievicz since being named Rookie-of-the-Week in the first report of 2023. Second weekly honor for a member of the program this year. In a 2-0 week which included a five-set road victory over Keene State College in the LEC opener Friday and a four-set home win over the University of Hartford the next day, Praskievicz averaged 5.11 digs and had a .945 reception percentage on 55 attempts, while also adding three blocks. Against Keene, she had 25 digs and a .953 reception percentage on 43 attempts and recording those three blocks. Having appeared in all 49 sets this year, Praskievicz  leads this year's team in reception attempts (232), reception percentage (.948),  digs (160) and digs per set (3.27) and is second in points (124), points per set (2.53) and kills (105). She is eighth in the LEC in digs and tenth in digs per set. Eastern (10-3, 1-0 LEC) visits VTSU Castleton (7-7, 0-1 LEC) Saturday at 1 p.m. and also meets Fitchburg State University (0-12) at 3 p.m. in a non-conference match.
