WILLIMANTIC, Conn. - Women's Basketball Head Coach Mandy King will enter the Little East Conference Hall of Fame as a member of the 1997-98 Southern Maine Women's Basketball Team. 

King, who was named Second Team All-ECAC during the 1997-98 season, helped the Huskies to the 1998 NCAA Division III National Championship game before the team fell to Washington (Mo.). During the 1997-98 season, Southern Maine lost just two games and went undefeated during LEC Play, winning its second-straight conference championship.

King joins Eastern Connecticut Track and Field Head Coach David Nicholson as an inductee into the LEC Hall of Fame Class of 2026. Nicholson was inducted as an individual athlete.
