Biography

Senior tri-captain... has appeared in all possible 87 games and has started every game in two of her three seasons... active career leader in points (1,011), scoring average (11.6), three-pointers (131), free throw percentage (77.7) and assists (111)... all-time, third in FT percentage, tied for fourth in three-point percentage (32.7) and three-point attempts (401) and fifth in three-pointers made...

Coach Bierly: “I’m really excited for Jordyn this year. She has big goals, and I think she has a chance to achieve a lot of them. Jordyn is a captain and most of the freshman probably feel more comfortable with her way of leading in a quiet and calm way. The thing about her is that she can go 0-for-10 (shooting), then make seven straight three pointers; it doesn’t really phase her all that much.”

2016/17: seasons-highs (p-r-a-3s): 27-10-5-5

2015/16: Second-team All-LEC... second on the team in scoring (13.0), FT percentage (74.3), FTs (75) and three-pointers (43) and first in three-point percentage (33.3)... led the LEC in total minutes (958/33.0 mpg), was sixth in three-pointers and tied for eighth in scoring... became the 16th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points in an Eastern uniform in the LEC title game... led or shared the team lead in scoring ten times, including five straight through the LEC tournament semifinals... reached double figures in scoring 19 times, with streaks of eight and six straight, respectively... scored at least ten points in 14 times in the last 17 games of the season... exceeded 20 points in a game three times...named to the Eastern Tip-Off Tournament all-tournament team (37 points, nine rebounds, 8-of-10 FTs)... in  three LEC tournament games, led the team with eight three-pointers annd a 53.3 three-point percentage, and shared the team lead with an 18.0 scoring average and with 12 free throws... career-high 29 points in the Eastern Tip-Off championship game were most by a player during the year...   shared the team lead with five three-pointers in a game... made all of her FTs in a game five times...  played 40 or more minutes three times... qualified for E-Club Scholar-Athlete Award... seasons-highs (p-r-a-3s): 29-6-4-5

2014/15: Started the first 11 games of the year and was one of six players to appear in all 31 contests... tied for third on the team in scoring (9.2) and was first in FT percentage (83.1) and second in three-point field goals (42)... tied the program record of seven three-pointers in a game in the LEC championship game en route to MVP honors... in the title win over UMass Boston, she was 7-of-10 from three-point range and 4-of-5 on FTs and finished with a career-high 25 points off the bench... had at least one three-pointer in the first nine games of the season... over the last 16 games, missed only two of 40 FT attempts, including a run of 18 in a row over a span of seven games... season-highs (p-r-a-3s): 25-9-4-7...

2013/14: Third freshman in the last five seasons to lead the team in scoring... second-team All-LEC pick... program's fifth LEC All-Rookie Team selection in last three seasons... along with Jill Ritrosky, started all 27 games and led all regulars with an average of 31.9 minutes per game and in three-point FGs (46) and attempts (134)... in limited tries, topped all players in FT pct. (76.9)...  in 14 regular-season LEC games, ranked third in the conference in scoring (14.4), sixth overall in all games... in the LEC regular season, shared second in three-pointers (25) and was third in percentage (36.2) in the conference... overall, was third in the conference in three-pointers made and fourth in percentage (34.3)... led Eastern with 18 double-figure scoring games, including 12 in a 13-game stretch beginning with the LEC opener Dec. 7... one of three LEC players (the only freshman) to score as many as 20 points in a game as many as six times... had three of her  20-point games in succession in LEC play in late January, the first of which produced 23 points,  five rebounds and three assists and only one turnover in 38 minutes of a win against defending LEC champ University of Southern Maine... led the Warriors in two LEC tournament games with 39 points and eight three-pointers, commiting only two turnovers in 74 minutes... named NEWBA Rookie-of-the-Week  Jan. 6 and LEC Rookie-of-the-Week Jan. 27... for the NEWBA honor, averaged 15.0 points in three road wins with a 54.5 FG percentage and totalled six three-pointers, seven rebounds, five assists and four steals... for the LEC honor, she had consecutive 22-point games in a 1-1 week with a 53.0 FG percentage, with seven three-pointers and only two turnovers in 72 minutes...  season-highs (p-r-a-3s): 24-5-3-5...

Career-highs (thru 16/17): 43 min., 29 pts., 10 reb., 5 assists, 1 block, 4 steals, seven 3-pointers...

High School: Member of basketball program which reached the Class "LL" championship game three straight years, with the Tigers taking the 2013 title with a one-point win...  played at Southington HS as a freshman... scored 1,000 points in her career and was a two-time all-conference selection...
