Coach D’Ambrosio: “Gia is a sophomore who had a great year as a freshman. She made the first team All-Conference, fourth team All-New England, and was rookie of the year in the conference. She’ll be a starter at center back with Meg Godwin and we may kind of push her into the midfield eventually as defensive center mid. That’s still a work in progress, but she’ll be back there in some position, maybe even this year.”
