Biography

Returning co-captain in 2013-14... one of two three-year letterwinners and ten total returnees from 2012-13...

Coach Fahey: "Michelle contnues to dominate the record board in the backstroke events and I am excited to see her strive for more in her senior year."

2012-13: Team MVP, team leader with 75 points in the NEISDA Championships, record-breaker in all three backstroke events, seven-time All-NEISDA honoree and All-Little East Conference with the 200 medley relay, Eastern's co-recipient as Individual Sport Athlete-of-the-Year, LEC All-Academic and E-Club Scholar-Athlete recipient... broke her own backstroke records with times of 1:01.45 (100) in the Little East Championships, and 28.56 (50) and 2:12.06 (200) in the NEISDA Championships...  in the backstroke at the NEISDA meet, was third in the 50 and sixth in the 100 and 200 and helped four relays attain All-NEISDA recognition... finished fifth in the season-opening USJ Pentathlon with a combined 100 yard time of 5:47.55, winning the backstroke in a time of 1:05.16...
2011-12: Fourth on the team with 47 points at the NEISDA Championships... finished eighth and gained All-New England honors in the 50 backstroke and also qualified for the final in the 200 backstroke, where she was 14th and in the 100 backstroke, where she was 15th... in the final of the 50 backstroke, broke her own record set in the preliminaries with a time of 28.92... swam her fastest time of the year in the preliminaries of the 200 backstroke (2:17.38)... also received All-New England recognition by helping the 200 medley and 200 and 800 freestyle relays to fourth-place finishes... contributed to the 200 medley relay which finished second and earned All-Little East recognition... sixth at the USJ Pentathlon with a total time of 5:57.63...

2010-11: Celebrated freshman season featured three program backstroke and four relay records, All-New England honors in two individual and three relay events and All-Little East Conference recognition with the 400 freestyle relay… at the NEISDA meet, broke her own records in the final of the 100 backstroke (missing All-NE by a half-second) and in the preliminaries of the 200 backstroke and in the 50 backstroke on the opening leg of the 200 medley relay… earned All-NE recognition in the 200 freestyle (4th) and 200 backstroke (5th) and with the record-setting 200 (3rd), 400 (3rd) and 800 (4th) freestyle relays… set the 50 backstroke record on the record-setting 200 medley relay… was undefeated in dual meets in the 100 and 200 backstroke…helped the 400 freestyle relay to second place and All-LEC recognition…

High School: Four-year member of swimming program... achieved all-league status four times... member of two league championship teams... as a senior, led her team to an undefeated league record... member of record-setting 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams... honor roll student...
